NASCAR Nationwide Series - Logano, now 54. available!

Teen sensation Joey Logano was the winner for today's races. His victory in the Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway was pretty phenomenal, and moves it to eight positions to 54th position!

Yes I know I want to write about the changes in the nationwide series positions and 54th position is not very important, but how can we ignore the story about Logano. I think I need write first about the series of top 10 rankings.

The big story for the series WM Brad Keselowski is really three positions after 2nd overall. Clint Bowyer remains in the first place, 170 points ahead of the Keselowski. A win ahead of a week in Nashville and fourth place today has Keselowski promoted the series and make his boss Dale Earnhardt, Jr. proud.

David Reutimann slipped a position and is now in third. Carl Edwards remains deleted in the fourth while Kyle Busch two items to the fifth. David Ragan moved the location to a position on the sixth while of Mike Bliss, seventh deleted. Ragan and Bliss actually have the exact number of points, but the bolt to the Ragan with better overall performance is after 16 races. Mike Wallace and David Stremme swapped positions with Wallace now in eighth and Stremme ninth. Jason Leffler will remain in the 10th.

Okay, back to the Logano. Maybe can you remember where you were 21 days after your 18th birthday, maybe you don't want to remember, but could you imagine the thrill of standing on the podium a NASCAR Nationwide Series race. And let's not forget, it is only Logano of third race. Logano was on the pole position for this race and his second in the last two races.

Joe Gibbs has to know what future star, he has in the Logano grinning ear to ear. Now, when Tony Stewart decided to play hardball for 2009 you do think Gibbs with a difficult time based Logano fill?

Move up to 54. position is not so important in the overall classification in the nationwide series, but make sure you on Logano continues to make its impact during the year. Finally, I promise that never set-teen sensation use, when to describe a NASCAR Series driver.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship standings - Kahne is the hard charger

The NASCAR Sprint Cup series has 14 race of the year with Kasey Kahne Pocono won over. The point ranking are always an exciting with Kyle Busch still at the top. Although Kyle Busch had a dismal race at the Pocono leads yet the series point standings. Bush in the race on the points and indeed everything, what he, to at the bottom edge could finish the race. And that's exactly what he did by finishing the Pocono 500 in dead last 43rd.

Busch lead was reduced to only 21 points ahead of the series second place driver Jeff Burton. The four top positions in the series remain unchanged in the fourth with Dale Earnhardt, Jr. in third and Carl Edwards. 10 Out of ten of the fourteen races for 2008 have shown the top each of these four drivers. Consistency is very important, one of the leaders for the Sprint Cup his and these first four prove that his front is, what matters most.

Kyle Busch leads all drivers in WINS with four so far in this year. Edwards has three victories this year to secure third place in the Championship. Jeff Burton has a victory. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. is the only rider of the four without a win this year.

The hard charger point was Kahne three positions this weekend Denny Hamlin, four positions and race winner Kasey. Hamlin, is now in fifth position with Kahne in ninth position.

Of the twelve key positions at hunting three riders lost positions, Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon and two positions. Clint Bowyer lost three positions and Tony Stewart went down one and is now in 12th place.

Stewart must be careful. It seems to be so much talk, what will happen to Stewart, next year, it seems that perhaps he has lost focus for 2008. But before we go too far with this thought, we must not forget that it is a tradition of Stewart to a hard-charger in the latter part of the season.

This weekend will produce an exciting race in Michigan. How will the point battle to make? Significant changes with the best candidates will give it? Felt ball Kahne his award-winning because this will be the hard charger at weekends for someone new, or?

Bruton Smith defies NASCAR again - is there an other stock car series in the works?

What does the France family in NASCAR, Charlotte billionaire own O. Bruton Smith. This is the perception between business rivals in the same industry. Of the 22 title NASCAR uses all except three are owned by the France International Speedway Corporation or Smith's Speedway Motorsports Inc. Smith, so it seems, wants to say that the playing field in his direction-a tall order, taking into account its competitors and have more facilities to tilt.

Smith's recent acquisition of Kentucky Speedway, and separation was by long-time friend and collaborator H.A. "Humpy" Wheeler's world of motor racing are wondering what has Smith sleeves.

For now the Sprint Cup schedule rolls a third through a SMI Web site, and Smith wants more. NASCAR insists that it alone has the authority to make its racing schedule, but talks Smith with certainty that Kentucky a race in 2009 will host. Atlanta tracks appointments at SMI and California could be moved due to a drop participation in both places, but would the the hole it not filling be shifted. One of the two races on his New Hampshire song is another option, pending approval of NASCAR. He could always buy or build an another Speedway, but if ' 09 aims, Pocono and his only options are Dover as Motor Speedway never would sell dominant Indianapolis IRL.

What he wants, has reason to believe he can acquire Smith, 81, arrange to build it, or make it happen. Through its SMI Corporation racing Tycoon hosts has eight expressways and at least a Nextel Cup race in seven cities across the nation (ISC has 12 tracks). He expects add one eighth race in Kentucky until the next year, regardless of the France decide or allow. The 1.5 km long route regularly sold from his nationwide series race, in ' 08 for June 14, planned and has an another Craftsman Truck Series event on 12 July. When the Kentucky sale is complete, a new name is expected. To it Cup ready plans Smith to add, that have around 50,000 seats to Sparta, Kentucky until the next year.

Kentucky lost their three years of federal antitrust case against NASCAR in January claimed that the sanctioning body a Cup race from its doors keep illegal was. Appeal was promised, and the new owner is next, but not under the banner of SMI allows the case. After the deal was made, speculation has that Smith the threat of a lawsuit as a trump card for an already promised Cup race in ' 09. If he would like to move a date from one of his other tracks, is to close the sanctioning agreements for the next season he would soon present a plan to NASCAR as the Football Association.

Smith has the richness of the property and enough business sense to his own series, if he wanted to start. He denies that probability under present conditions publicly say that he is quite a NASCAR man. Nevertheless it is permissions for each business decision he makes clear questions NASCARS uncomfortable.

Provided that he declared his intentions, or in other ways, reversal of the pecking order on his mind after apparently. A business takeover has not ruled out.

Stay tuned.
